I’d like to say I’ve always wanted to be an illustrator but the truth is I didn’t really know what illustration was until I stated studying it at Falmouth uni in 2018! However I have loved art and drawing since I was little and was so excited to discover it could be a career. I opened Hopscotch Paper Co in 2025 as it seemed like the next step in my creative journey. I had been working as a greetings card designer for 3 years and wanted to start my own thing. 

My background is in children’s illustration which I think brings a fun flare to my designs. I particularly love designing characters and playing with colours. My main sources of inspiration are fluffy animals (mostly cats and my dog Barney), plants and flowers, and books.
